Washoe Development Corporation is assigned land from the Washoe Tribe to provide for the effective and efficient utilization of the Washoe Indian Reservation in a manner which protects the long-term interest of the Tribe and which provides an income for the utilization of those resources.  Land Leases provide tools for business opportunities to create revenues, while still maintaining sovereignty of the Tribal land.
